Getting used to the cold...

Hi All,

Paris has been experiencing abnormally cold temperatures for the past couple of weeks. We currently wake up with -9 to -7°C. Some people may be experiencing colder weather, but believe me when I say that Parisians are not used to this. The last time we had this was back in 2008. We've got a little snow since last Sunday.

So, to get accustomed to the cold weather and test a few more items of my gear, I have reduced the heating of my flat! Well, guess what, silly me cought cold because I didn't wrap up warmly enough for the night... Not good. So lesson learned, and I'm doing what's necessary to not worsen the cold. Though, it is slightly difficult to type with gloves!

I'm glad my cats are at my parents' house and they don't have to go through this. Poor things!

And no, I'm not going to wear just t-shirts outside, as some of my colleagues have recommended! Do they want me to catch pneumonia?!
